Vista Ballona

About This Project

Vista Ballona is a 50-unit multi-housing development located in the Mar Vista Neighborhood in the City of Los Angeles.  To provide affordable housing for the largest possible number of low-income families and some developmentally disabled residents, the project incorporates an extremely high density of units on a small site.

As such, the building is designed from the ground up, utilizing every square inch of available space. This includes specifically customized unit plans, creative use of ancillary spaces and ensuring the project complies with a multitude of criteria, including building and zoning codes, layers of requirements of funding agencies, and above all the ability to maximize sustainable features and the quality of life for future residents.
