As an associate and project manager with FSY Architects for nearly 11 years, Steve has been involved in a range of project types that include arts and entertainment, housing, educational, commercial and cultural. His breath of knowledge and experience spans across all of the design phases—from conceptual design to construction documents and through to the completion of construction. His knowledge is pivotal to the success of the projects he designs and manages.
His expertise in CADD and Building Information Modeling applications allows him to quickly and effectively convey complicated design concepts while simultaneously facilitating production, detailing and implementation. His strong design and project management skills have been crucial to the success of several high caliber projects. He was the lead in the construction administration effort for the adaptive reuse conversion of the historical Vision Theatre, which was transformed into a state-of-the-art performing arts venue.
Some of Steve’s other accomplishments include his graduate thesis on new housing prototypes which was published in the UCLA publication “Thought Matters” and an innovative design-build lighting exhibition at the undergraduate level. Having led the effort, it was later installed on Hollywood Boulevard. He also graduated with honors in the undergraduate program at Woodbury University where he participated in the study abroad programs in Paris and Barcelona.
