Jan 2018 Green Home Builder Magazine Profiles Silver Star Apartments
Green Home Builder Magazine, a nationally-distributed magazine, profiled Silver Star Apartments in its January/February 2018 edition. Having just been awarded Project of the Year by USGBC Los Angeles Chapter, the project is highlighted as a ‘First-of-its-Kind, ZNE Affordable Housing Project’, for its innovative design aimed at maximizing energy efficiency. Additionally, the project is featured for its contributions in responding to homelessness in Los Angeles. The 49-unit development targets homeless veterans who are living with mental illness. The project was completed in July 2017.
