Solaris Apartments

About This Project

Solaris Apartments is a 100% affordable housing project, designed to house survivors of domestic violence and their families. This 43-unit project is located in the Koreatown neighborhood of Los Angeles and is supported by the Koreatown Youth + Community Center. The building massing is intended to face inward, to provide residents with a sense of security, while opening to the landscaped court and playground at the rear of the site. A landscaped central courtyard on the second-floor podium provides natural lighting and ventilation to the residential units and offers another space for residents to gather.
