Mid-Celis Apartments

About This Project

Mid Celis Apartments is an urban infill development featuring twenty units of special needs housing and an approximately 5,000 square foot passive neighborhood park that features an edible garden. Mid Celis addresses an important and growing housing need for clients and households that qualify as transition aged youth, transition aged youth with mental disabilities, and families with disabilities. A LEED® Platinum building, the project emphasizes environmental responsibility while highlighting the need for design equity—a key design parameter at fsy that works on the premise that good design is for all. Through a partnership with Penny Lane Centers, Mid Celis provides a myriad of on and off-site supportive social services and counseling facilities.
