NoHo 5050

About This Project

NoHo 5050 is a 100% affordable permanent supportive housing project for survivors of domestic violence. In five stories, forty residential units are proposed (4 – Studio, 28 – 1 Bedroom, 8 – 2 Bedroom) with common spaces at the first floor. Amenities include case management offices, a learning center, laundry room, and community room. Utilizing the disproportionate site shape to its advantage, the design presents a secure entry along the narrow street frontage. This aides in controlling pedestrian and vehicular traffic before entering the heart of the project, promoting a sense of security for the respective population.
